Tom is a 1972 graduate of Bowdoin College and received his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden in 1975.  Tom is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  He received his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College in 1987 and the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation in 1992. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Delaware State Bar Association.  He is a director of the Chester County (PA) Estate Planning Council and a former director and current member of the Estate Planning Council of Delaware.  Tom is also currently a member of the Wilmington Tax Group and Philadelphia Estate Planning Council.

Tom has more than 30 years experience in estate planning, and trust and estate administration.  Tom began his career at Delaware Trust Company in Wilmington, Delaware, and has also worked with Meridian Asset Management, Mellon Private Asset Management and The Glenmede Trust Company. He has worked with high net worth individuals and their advisors in designing and implementing sophisticated estate planning strategies and has spoken to lay and professional groups on estate planning topics.

Tom is Treasurer and a Director of the Brandywine Valley Association.
