Michele earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Delaware and graduated with honors in 2001. She went on to receive her law degree in 2004 from Villanova University School of Law, where she focused her studies primarily on the areas of estate and tax planning. Prior to joining Commonwealth Trust Company, Michele worked as an associate at Cooch and Taylor in Wilmington, Delaware, where she focused her areas of practice on estate planning, trust reformation and Chancery Court litigation. She then joined the law office of Piet H. van Ogtrop in Newark, Delaware, where Michele was made a Partner and generated a substantial practice in the areas of estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration and family law. Michele is licensed to practice in the State of Delaware and is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, the Delaware Estate Planning Section, the American Bar Association, and the Delaware Melson-Arsht Inn of Court.
