Cindy graduated with honors from Grove City College in 1992 and received her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 2003, graduating cum laude. While there Cindy was an active Widener Law Review member and served as Blue Book Editor. She was the recipient of achievement awards in both Federal Estate and Gift Tax and Estate Planning. Cindy is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Delaware State Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Additionally, Cindy is a member of the DSBA Trust Act Committee, which drafts revisions to the Delaware Statute. She is an active member of the Delaware Bankers Association (“DBA”), participating both in its Trust Committee and on the Planning Committee for the DBA’s annual Delaware Trust Conference. Cindy is also a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), the leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues. 

Prior to joining Commonwealth Trust Company, Cindy worked at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in Philadelphia, where, among other things, she administered estates and trusts, drafted sophisticated estate planning documents, prepared and reviewed Federal and State death tax returns, and prepared and reviewed fiduciary accountings. Cindy's experience also includes over eight years as an estate and trust paralegal with Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, Dechert and Moss and Mackrides LLP.
